Handwashing is the preferred method of cleaning, as dishwashers may expose the board to excessive heat, moisture, and humidity, potentially causing damage.

Care of the placemats includes occasional oiling, providing your board with a nourishment to maintain its luster and longevity.

Please bare in mind that some colours when poured into the burns left by the lichtenberg effect can darken, some do not but it is always possible.
