Our expertly crafted console tables are constructed from solid live edge English beech, each embodying its distinct character. Beech wood exhibits a diverse range of tones, which, following the felling of the tree, undergoes a natural process known as spalting. This phenomenon gives rise to the distinct black lines coursing through our tables, creating a unique aesthetic appeal.
The spalt pattern, a byproduct of fungal growth within the tree, adds intrigue to the visual quality of the wood. The wood is processed by our eco-friendly mills, ensuring that it is ready for use, with the fungus eliminated, leaving only its beautiful pattern behind.
The level of spalting in each piece of wood remains a mystery until it is planed and sanded, which adds to the allure of this process. However, rest assured, your spalted beech table will showcase a noticeable degree of this intriguing pattern.

Our business operates from a small, family-run workshop nestled in the countryside. With years of carpentry experience, our passion and craftsmanship breathe life into every wooden piece we create. We source the majority of our wood from local saw mills that salvage trees felled during various projects, giving the wood a renewed purpose rather than being wasted.

- Hairpin Legs: 71cm, 86cm, or 101cm (excluding the table top; black as standard; 2 supplied)
- Finish: Smooth with a handmade wax treatment

Please note that each piece of wood is distinct, resulting in slight variations and knots that add character and uniqueness to each table. We advise against placing hot items on the table and exercising caution when placing the table over a radiator, as heat can cause wood to react.
The console table is equipped with two hairpin legs, attached to the front edge of the table. Pre-drilled pilot holes are provided for easy assembly; you will need a screwdriver to attach the legs. Given the table's style, we recommend attaching it to the wall for stability; a bracket for this purpose is included.
