Who Are We?

We’re Dan and Sam — the duo behind Cutting Edge Creations, a small, family-run business turning reclaimed wood and 3D-printed magic into beautiful, joyful things for your home.

Dan is a skilled carpenter with years of experience creating bespoke woodwork in customers’ homes. When the world hit pause during the 2020 lockdown, he took a leap and launched Cutting Edge Creations, swapping site visits for sawdust in a garden shed.

Sam joined in 2022, bringing her background in finance, law, and order fulfilment (plus a healthy dose of sass). Together, we’ve grown the business from that tiny shed into a thriving countryside workshop — one that’s already had to double in size to keep up with demand!

What We Make

From handmade wooden furniture to quirky 3D-printed fidget toys, we make everything ourselves in our rural Leighton Buzzard workshop. Our pieces are made to order, made with love, and made to last.

Sustainable from the Start

We hate waste. Most of our timber is reclaimed from local sawmills who salvage wood from felled trees — often due to construction projects like HS2. Without this rescue mission, the trees would be burned. Instead, they're seasoned, saved, and transformed into something stunning.

We proudly use UK-sourced, sustainable materials, including 100% bio-based filament for our 3D prints, and we even recycle our print waste into new models.
